I'm so glad I'm not the only one.
I think it's because the machine is now so long from one end to the other and the knee lift has to be where it is that the distance has increased from where you sit

Have you tried changing the orientation of the knee lift? In the manual it shows you how to do that…I did and now I am fine with the angle of it being much closer.

I have tried all the feet. I think I was having the most luck with the PD-H, mainly because I could see what I was doing better. I may even cut an opening on the red lines.

It is a long piece of soft plastic that is buoyant in water and in Canada, folks use it to keep a float in a swimming pool or lake. It has a hole through the centre, so it would work nicely to

In the summer they are in Tesco/Sainsburys etc and swimming pool storeshave them.
They are about a metre long and made of stiffish polystyrene
