Hi Vicki
I have used the stand alone thread stand on all of my machines starting with the 6000 though the 15000 and never have had any real problems not even with the metallic’s. I do agree

Re: How do I update to use the RE 18 hoop with Ver 2?
Pat
It's already on the V2 machine if that's what you bought. The updates on the website are to bring the V1 up to V2.
Go into edit on the machine, then select the hoop icon - you will see the page

In going through my embroidery files and organizing them I have found that I have lots of single downloads from a lot of places…I go to Embroidery Library a lot, partly because their website is so

How do I update to use the RE 18 hoop with Ver 2?
First I thought, maybe it is already in Ver 2-- because it is recognized in Horizon Link Suite update...
Then I went to the Global Janome site and the update for it is 1.02 and my 15000 is ver 2 Do

Re: Magna Hoop on 15000
Thanks everyone for opinions and ideas. It’s really good you’veexperimented and shared the photos. So now I know it will work great andjust have to decide how much I will be using embroidery.

I use BFC-poly from BFC-stash.com. A huge selection of colors with a better price than others of similar quality. This is the thread that BFC-creations.com uses for their designs.

Speaking of threads, we had an embroidery class at work and encountered an interesting problem. Most of the machines involved were the Janome 9900. The store sells a variety of threads and the thread

Re: Thread question
So far nearly every thread I've tried has worked fine.
I got a case of cotton Mettler threads with the machine - 30,40,50 and 60 weights which are great.
I bought 75 (supposed to be bankrupt stock)

Re: Storing designs on the USB
I feel pretty ignorant to ask this, but what is the purpose of formatting a USB drive, and how is it done? I have loads of designs stored that way, and have never formatted any of them. Does that

Re: Magna Hoop on 15000
I'm not understanding what you mean about capacity but the RE18 is the best fit for any 5 x 7 design. The hoop available stitching area is 5.5 x 7. If I didn't have the RE18, I'd have to use the SQ23
