Thanks for replying so quickly Jim when I've told techs of the sequence I'm told one does not have any thing to do with the other... The threader works fine if I'm just changing thread colors.... I will mention this to them Tuesday when I take it in (120kms).... Really appreciate your input! Carol M.

Thread usually breaks either because something prevented it from feeding, or something happened to prevent it from making the trip around the hook race. When it becomes more than a one-off I look to the hook race for nicks, scratches, or gouges. Often the damage is too small to be seen without bright light or magnification. The white plastic piece below the bobbin case is also subject to damage, and if it gets scratches in it they can slice through thread or catch it. It something is catching the thread hard enough to break it, there's a good chance it could be pulling the needle bar sharply enough to dislodge the threader. Your technicians are probably concentrating on how the threader is engaging, and ignoring why the thread is breaking.

I have been experiencing a problem with my 15000 In that when I'm seeing along my thread breaks (not the problem) then when I rethread using the threader it brings threader down then jams.... I take the little motor off reseat the unit and I might be good to go for several retheads but will be sewing along get a snick (thread breaks) rethead then jam! I don't bother to put the two screws back in the decorative cover .... the local dealer techs have had it do it to them but they have no ideas what it is... they thought a good greasing of the shafts would fix it.... not. I asked them to cast a wider inquiry but they just say no answer back. has anyone had this problem and is there a fix? My 15000 is upgraded but is about 6 years old. I thought maybe it was a worn part as the part that slips out is metal slipping from a white plastic bracket... thanks for listening to my tale of woe....

Unfortunately the removal and replacement of the stitch plate did not work. Off to the technician. Hopefully not back to Janome. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello. I am new to this Janome Group. Since the shake-up in Yahoo Groups, you will probably be getting a lot of new members in the near future. I believe some of the Yahoo Groups will also be relocating here.
I have 2 Janome machines; a sew-only Skyline S7 and the MC500e embroidery-only. I also have 2 other "not Janome" machines that I keep at the ready on my sewing table. Each one of my machines excels in several things, and I tend to use all four of them for specific sewing/embroidery tasks. Machines like to be used and maintained. MY embroidery software is Embird. I am looking forward to scrolling through the many topics and messages already on this Group, and adding a comment or question occasionally. I have found lots of help on this type of platform. Happy stitching and sewing to all Kathy Strabel Camas WA

I was cleaning out boxes and found this piece that goes with my Pfaff creative vision 5.1. I have no idea what it is. It doesn't look like a foot.... Anyone know what it is for? Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S8+, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

I like Gildan sweatshirts and tees better than any other. They are nice and thick.

I buy sweatshirts from jiffyshirts.com. They carry all qualities from
very inexpensive to better quality. They ship very quickly. There
are so many price ranges that it’s sometimes hard to pick out which you
want.

Re: Question about 14000

lol! I was just going to suggest a product from the dzgns (DIME) people! It's a projector that helps with alignment. It's a bit pricey, but a friend has it and she loves it. Personally, I don't think the PAL laser light will accomplish as well what JFraker wants to do, especially with her bulky quilts. I have one of those too, and NEVER use it. I like the clothsetter far more. The ASQ22 hoop with the Clothsetter will be ideal for her quilting placement. Not to offend anyone, WE all have preferences!!! Faviola
