I have written an e-mail to the following address:

not bounce back. The other address listed earlier this evening did not
work.



I stated a complete story regarding the problem I'm having with the Pressure
Sensor - which is the same as everyone else and I asked for a reply with a
FIX. Also inquired if perhaps they were faulty sensors. I have 5 other
Janome machines - the 12000 the most expensive of them all - and have NO
PROBLEMS with the others - the 500E being the last one I have purchased.



Would be HAPPY to send a FAX if that is what everyone else is doing. Please
advise.

In Canada I paid $600 to upgrade from version 5 to version 5.5 - the exchange rate is crazy between our two countries!
nevertheless, now that I have installed it, I am excited to explore the new content. I hope it was worth it!

I got a new computer, had trouble installing my mbx 5. I called Janome, they installed remotely and put it to 5.5 ...I am in Louisiana.

Our dealer on the east coast had it months ago. But it’s possible that there is a shortage since Janome sells the software in its own packaging through dealers.

Yes, you need to remind your dealer, 5.5 has been available for several months already.

I could not afford Hatch so did not switch.

Hi everyone,
 Does anyone know if they are going to release MBX version 5.5 in the US?  I called my dealer months ago and asked.  They said they would call once they found out anything but I haven’t heard a word. I saw that it was just released in Australia so maybe there’s still hope. I didn’t go the Hatch route once it was said we would get it.  Maybe that was a mistake.  Thanks

I feel sad that so many of you are having issues with your 12000. Have you checked Janome global to update your machines to ver2. Shortly after the 12000 came out there was an update to correct issues that some were having. When you have an update for a machine it may list what the update is correcting however they do not list everything it is correcting. I had my 12000 for 6.5 years and other than a foot pedal issue it never gave me one bit of trouble. Trust me Iused it continously every day for hours . I had it cleaned and checked every 6 month only because I used it so often, usually once a yr is sufficient. Hopefully you will get it resolved soon.send it directly to Janome that may be the answer.

My sensor has been adjusted many times it does not work.  Besides for $12000 I shouldn’t have to do that. I never had to before. I want it fixed

I have had customers with this complaint.  I sewed while pushing down on the back right corner of the plate.  Usually this stops the message.  If it does I just go in and raise the sensor.  I think constant pushing plates on and off cause it to push down so it doesn't read correctly.  Hope this helps.  Your dealer will have to adjust the sensor however your pushing down while sewing will tell you if this is your problem.

You don’t get a person. Just a recording. I have composed a letter explains the problem and faxed it to Janome at 201-825-3270. I strongly suggest we all do the same as it will have more clout and get their attention. Everyone out there with this error message problem please write and fax to Janome. They need to hear from us! Thank you
