Re: Janome 15000 timing issue

I had to have my 15000 sent to New Jersey to get something fixed. I shipped it via UPS and it cost twice as much for me to ship it up there than it did for them to ship it back to me. Many businesses get a break on shipping rates from various vendors that are not available to JQP! Were I to have to do so again, I would check with Janome to see if they would give me a shipping tag (they can be emailed) using their shipping rate. It doesn’t hurt to ask!

It is extremely rare for Janome machines to get out of time. From the pictures you sent I can see a couple of problems. The bobbin case is badly damage, probably from spinning out and getting hit by the needle. The stopper for the bobbin case is broken and needs replacing, and there may be damage to the hook as well. If you can’t find a local technician you should ask to have the machine sent to New Jersey. Trying to fix timing on a machine that is not out of time will usually put it out of time and create more problems.

Janome 15000 timing issue

Kim Cotcher

Hi Jim,

I have a Janome 15000 and took it in to be cleaned and serviced last month.  When I got it back I started on an embroidery design and I suddenly had a clicking noise in the bobbin case. The timing is off. The needle hits way too early, breaking needles and the thread make a path around the outside of the bobbin case.
I took it back to my technician and she cannot get the timing to stay fixed. Oh I am so sad! I will find another more experienced tech to look at it.
Any helpful suggestions or ideas?

Thank you!

I use the new HD foot for the 15K on my 8900. It works great, I just move the needle to the right most position. I love this foot.

Wow. Thanks for the info. As someone who likes to sew vinyl, this looks like a must. Do you go to Janome for bulletins or can you sign up for them?

They are not mixed in - folders are listed alphabetically ahead of the files, which are also in alphabetical order. This is regardless of the browser used, or the computer.

Edge for windows 10 works well also.

Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7.

Carole, you probably can't see the folder structure because of the
1)browser 2) the need to turn on Desktop view.
On another group people are having the same problem.
Try Chrome browser it will give more viewing options.

Yes it will fit the 15000, which is a high shank 9mm machine.

When I search the site the folders aren't "pinned" to the side bar like they are for Jim.  They are mixed in with the files section.  If you sort by name at the top the folders will come to the top and you can see it there.

New HD Roller Foot

Hi All,

Apologies if this has already been asked.  Does anyone know if the new HD Roller Foot fits the MC15000 and the MC12000?   This bulletin https://www.janome.co.jp/e/e_downloads/pdf/janomebulletin/JTM-1054_Roller_Foot_R.pdf says it fits high shank 9mm machines but doesn't call out either of those two models like some of their bulletins do.  It is shown on what looks like one of their straight stitch sewing machines.

Thanks,
Ed

Sorry, but I'm not finding anything that looks like that.  I'm searching the site on my MacBook Pro.

I was able to view the Hoop Holder by clicking on the link with the .pdf.  What a great idea.  Thanks.

However, when I go to the Files section, there is no Online Sewing section.
