Adjusting stitch density ...? Seam guide ...? Touch screen ...?
I can see on AcuDesign that the stitch density is automatically adjusted when you change the size of the design to fit a different hoop. However I am not sure if this also applies when changing the size of a design on the mc15000 ... Does it readjust the stitch density? Plus I am wondering when using the embroidery arm seam guide if anyone else has found that the fabric can take up a millimetre or two of the seam allowance (depending on its thickness). I have to adjust it for that before sewing the seam. And yes Anne I also have been hesitant to use the sharp end of the screen stylus on the screen. I usually use the rounded end or my knuckle if I feel my fingertip is a bit too moist. 🌹🌻🌺🍄🌼🌞🌙🌏❄⚡☁🍃🌷🌸💐🐎🐅🐬🐟🐄🐏🐝🐛🐌🐥🐢🐍🐜🌲

Thank you so much for the coaster design! Trouble downloading.
paularmcl@...
Hi Jim and Diane, as a fairly new member of this group, I have so appreciated all the help and advice from you and all the contributors. I have downloaded the instructions for the coasters but cannot seem to get the actual design. My screen keeps coming up blank. Any ideas? Filled with ideas, most of them ridiculous, Jim says: If your browser doesn't want to download it then right click on the link for the design and choose "Save file As".

15000 update
dawsewmad
Hi Jim, when I click on the exe file to send the file to the usb stitch for my machine it tells me that the verup.inf file is missing and it won,t download onto my stick.I see that in the prog folder it has the same files as in the exe, would it be alright to copy and use these? I have downloaded from the Janome site 3 times and get the same message each time. Dawn Download 3 times but cut once - maybe that doesn't apply here - so Jim says: It sounds like you are trying to open the EXE file from inside the zip file that you downloaded. Windows probably told you that some of the needed files would not be available when you did that. Create a folder on your desktop. Then drag EVERYTHING from the zip file into that folder. Then double click the EXE file and you should be able to get a usable update USB drive.

Re: Artistic Edge group
bluebellwrangler@...
I belong to one. Let me see how I can show it to you. Well, I can't get it to show up here, so search for Janome Artistic Edge Digital Cutter. If that doesn't work, it looks like I can add someone to the list for approval. Tell me how you show up on Facebook or the email address you want to use, and I will add you. Carol

I'm a new 12000 owner, and only using it for basic things right now. But I so much appreciate this group and everything I'm learning. As I start to broaden my "Horizons" in using the machine I feel like I am more prepared by reading everyone else's adventures. And I so enjoy reading Jim's comments and replays. Thank you Jim & Diane! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays everyone! TerryPlease note the new location of the files due to Dropbox suspending my public account. Re: A gift for the group
Thank you for the beautiful coaster patterns – love making coaster as they
are such great gifts for so many folks. And, a great BIG THANK YOU for all
your great help and explanation of questions asked by those of us in this
group. I keep so many of them for future reference as it seems I can’t
quite “recall” information like I used to – am suspicious it is an “age”
problem, but do hate to admit it – LOL.
Wishing you, Jim and Diane and all members of this group a very Merry
Christmas and a Wonderful New Year. The best is yet to

Embroidery arm
cnystul in Mn.
Jim yesterday as I was finishing up with some embroidery I went to shut down the 11000 and as the embroidery arm was to close it made a terrible noise like grinding and didn't close. So I shut down the machine and retried again to close down the embroidery arm but nothing happened. Now the lever on the side to close just doesn't do anything. The lever just feels like loose no pressure on it to close. What do you suppose is going on? I can still use the arm but just can't close the arm. Thank you...Cathy Oh and thank you Jim and Diane for the coasters...my after Christmas project. Making a terrible noise, Jim says: Something is preventing the carriage from returning to home position. It could be a pin that fell into the carriage, accumulated lint or something else. You won't be able to close the arm until it is in "Home" position, so you may need to make a very careful trip to your dealer, as it likely will require opening the carriage to diagnose and fix.
