I had the exact problem 3 years after buying my Janome 15000 and had it at the dealers 3-4 times in as many months. Now it skips stitches unless I have the HP foot and faceplate on. So far I’ve replaced the regular faceplate, bobbin case and foot peddle. Like you, if I didn’t have as much money tied up in the machine, I’d trade it. Many people on the Facebook Janome site have similar issues with this machine.
