Disassembly is required and maybe parts. As you may imagine, it's VERY difficult to diagnose the problem from the pictures you provided. If you have no Janome service you could maybe have it looked at by someone who works on sewing machines in general, just to see what the problem is. Otherwise there isn't much you can do.
