You are right.  I was getting my hoop numbers mixed up.  I just meant that rather than add a size larger and still give the same number of midsized hoops, they replaced the prior large one with the bigger one.

They did not take away the 5X7 (really it is 5.5 X 7.9 in).  They have not included the RE28b which was the largest hoop on the 500E.  This hoop has been replaced with the new RE36b hoop.  Anything you could stitch out in the RE28b hoop can be stitched out in the RE36b hoop.
