I attempted to try this with AccuQuilt- placing some commercial quilting straight stitch files in the appropriate file folder. The problem I had was deciphering all the commercial file formats. I never found the correct format that could be converted to our Janome format. I was using Embird for the conversion.
Any thoughts?

The format used by AcuFil is JPX, which is a modified version of JEF that many conversion programs don't support. When you attempt to OPEN a design JPX is the default and your only choice. However when you IMPORT designs you have the option of choosing JEF, which is pretty much universally supported by conversion utilities.
