When we lived in our previous house I made bedroom drapes.  I found a drapery fabric that claimed to have a built-in lining, it was sort of like a fused on web.  But I lined them anyhow, and I also interlined them. They were really warm that way!  Older books at least should have instructions for various kinds of curtains and drapes.

  I have a question. I'm looking at making some curtains any suggestions?  They are to be heavier ones to keep the heat in.
