Re: Marsh Park

Looking at it I was almost thinking 6.0m2. But went with the 7.0 and needed it all. I had several long slogs during lulls, but it was a fun day. The white caps are deceptive since they're coming downwind. On the plus side the little swells were well formed and usable.

I made a long day of it - starting at 2 and quitting about 5:30.  The wind was light when Michal launched and I thought he would end up downwind at the next park, but he surprised me by being able to slog upwind. I don't think he ever got enough wind to foil, but did well  just holding his position on the beach in light wind.

My guess is OO-Denny might have had more wind?  It's possible the NW angle favored Marsh?

Let’s test that theory.  At OO Denny 2.37 rigging a 7.0 wing.

I suggested to Don to try Marsh Park first. As I was driving around in the last few weeks, it looked to me like the wind was better at Marsh Park/middle of the lake than OO Denny. I've seen a handful of wingers launching from Marsh and having being able to fly. If anyone has opposite observations, please share.

I am going to try to come out today, too, and I might swing by OO Denny, since that is 5 min for me, but I am slightly leaning towards Marsh Park even though that is a (slightly) longer drive for me.

Oh, no OODenny?
I'll avoid the long drive and stick to SSP then. Maybe see you in the middle of the lake!
