Raspberry Pi: fldigi and flmsg not working together on receive #raspberrypi #fldigi #flmsg

Jerry, if you check transfer it opens just a list of messages. You have to have a blank flmsg open before you receive one. I don't have open in browser checked because it will open the browser and hide fldigi. I like to open the browser after I receive the message. I don't think you have to have that tab open.

Ron,

I had Open message folder and
I had "Transfer direct to executing flmsg" checked, so I unchecked both of those.

Is there a problem if I have open with flmsg and open in browser both checked at the same time?

Also, I went into chromium and created a tab with 127.0.0.1:8080 (and it came up with "Custom Form not posted"
Do I need to keep that tab open to receive the form

Jerry,

In Fldigi, Configure Dialog, Misc, NBEMS interface, make sure you enable the interface, and open with flmsg are checked and it points to the flmsg program. Here's an example of my configuration.

Also, in Flmsg make sure you are in expert mode.

I have flgmsg coming up with autostart - and it works fine.

Someone sent a MSG and I saw the [WRAP} .... message come across.
My compatriots who were on Windows (flmsg or their browser came up automatically and showed the message in a nice form)
My Rpi did not.

I also looked at the NBEMS files directory, and have seen NO received files at all!

I've done a lsof -i -P -n | grep LISTEN, and it shows that ports 7362 and 8080 are both in listen mode

Is there anything else that I need to do to have this happen? Getting windows is NOT an option, y'all!
