Did you fix it so that memories stored in flRig remain stored?  I'm having trouble with my 706mkIIG with my memory list disappearing when I terminate flRig.  Older version but I've been waiting for a new release.  Will give it a try.  Also, when will flRig be able to use XML rig definition files like flDigi?

ICOM IC-F8101 flrig LSB issue

Bliss Wheeler

Flrig and Fldigi run very well together with the IC-F8101. The help reduce the wear and tear on the button controls
of the radio.. I really appreciate your support of IC-F8101.

I've run into a little glitch. When it initializes and loads the preferences, it changes the bandwidth of the LSB setting
to 100 Hz.  It even writes over the Factory setting of the radio, so that when ever I select LSB the default bandwidth
is 100Hz. Normally I could go into Restore and uncheck that feature, but it is grayed out and I can't uncheck the box.
I've even tried to set it in the .pref file but it overwrites it the next time it initializes. It's kind of an issue since you have
to press 5 buttons on radio startup to get to the Factory settings to change it back to 3000 Hz default.

It's kind of a problem setting up MACROS to set different frequencies specifically for the Ham Bands which use the
LSB setting.

I wonder if I'm missing a setting somewhere.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thank you,
Bliss Wheeler

Re: fldigi 4.1.08.51 alpha test posted - RX Audio Monitor

Dave,

I saw your email about trying Rx Audio Monitor with the alpha version of Fldigi. It works great on the Linux Mint machine using Pulse audio. The audio out of the laptop speakers sounds great and the filter settings make the CW audio sound better than the filters on the Icom IC-7300 output. This looks like a great feature. Thanks for adding this.

I can't seem to get it to work on the Windows 10 machine. A couple of times it shutdown Fldigi. When Fldigi stays up then no monitored sounds out of the PC speaker.

I didn't see any information in the user manual so I'm not sure if I have the Windows machine set up properly. Here's a screen shot of my settings. The audio should have the USB Audio Codec in the capture and playback but if I do that Fldigi shuts down. I'll send a copy to your private mail because I don't thing groups.io shows the screen shots.

Re: Weather Form

All of the energy is being wasted on REINVENTING a form that is ALREADY part of the FLMSG section of the FLDIGI Suite is just that; wasted energy.

Open FLMSG then select FORM followed by selecting the last line that is WEATHER and select the appropriate weather form for the situation.

The NWS accepts what is in FLMSG.

In my opinion win-link (and associated forms) is (are) junk.

I'll use the preloaded forms and forgo any "Custom" form that is not approved by certain agencies.

Re: Fldigi and flrigi won’t talk

I just did a clean install with the firewall turned off to make sure it wasn’t preventing something from going in properly. No luck. While flrig will talk to the radio just fine, fldigi and flrig still wont communicate.
