Thanks Dave. Since I will have to type in the data anyway, I will use Xlog, as its fields are more customizable. It would be nice, perhaps in the Fldigi generic contest setup, to be able to

The text capture order only has signfigance for capturing text from the Rx panel; not the FH raster panel.
Just enter the desired values in the "Xch" control and then

Thanks, David. It looked like the generic contest would get me close, but I didn't see how to tailor it for the sprint. I am aware that one has to enter the qso data manually. So I put that data

Start a new log for the sprint. The configure for Contests / General; "Generic contest". There is no way to capture FH text from the video raster, so you will be entering all

Is there any way to create a customized contest log with fields of my own choosing? I would like to create one for Feld Hell sprints. It should log the following exchanges: rst in and out, feld

Re: Faster Modes for Fldigi
Hey Frank,
The OFDM FM-6Kbps mode is freq-locked to 2000Hz (unless something goes wrong), so no worries about adjusting it.

Thanks John,
We will adjust the FFT settings and try again over the weekend.
What was your ideal center frequency for the FM OFDM?

Hi Barry and the group,
Will try and listen to and record the PA NBEMS net using an online SDR. My location is too noisy for 80m. hihi
THOR and MFSK are great for NVIS. To be honest, I am not sure how

Thank you for your thorough and fast response.
I hope you learned something from my spectrum screen shots of the OFDM modes as we received them on 2m FM simplex. It sure sounded awful in

Thanks for the testing and images of the received spectrum.
Without having much radio equipment myself, this testing is super-useful.

A few of us in the Phila area tried using the OFDM 2kbps and the 3kbps modes with FLDIGI but on a 2m (analog) simplex and a FM repeater!!
It sort of works, but there were problems

Re: [NBEMS-HI] Testing of new OFDM multicarrier modes
Hi Glenn,
Wanted to clarify info about the new modes and the idea behind OFDM + FLAMP usage.
I agree that things like Winlink and VARA HF are too complicated or slow for EmComm usage.

Re: Bulletin Board System (BBS) development based on FLDIGI via Socket
Both work equally well. I would recommend staying with the xmlrpc interface to give consistency to your client code.

Thanx again, David.
Does it make more sense to use the xmlrpc interface or would it be better to use the TCP/IP socket to FLDIGI on Port 7322 to write and read text to / from FLDIGI?
