Hi Skip,

I'm using a Kenwood TM-D700A, and it is an FM only. I have a TS-480, but only goes up to 6m. Working great on FM.

Thanks and 73!

Hi Jeff,

What brand and model of VHF radio are you using? Is it an FM-only radio?
NBEMS is primarily intended to be used on VHF SSB with PSK audio.

The default of 144.144 is what appears to be the nationally agreed upon
calling frequency for PSK31, and easy for people to remember, so that is why
we chose that frequency as a default. Changing the default was excactly the
right thing for you to do.

Subject: [NBEMSham] 2m default frequency...

Noticed in VBdigi that the 2m default frequency is 144.144 with the
tone at 144.145.

Not sure about your radios, but I can't tune to 144.144 because my 2m
radio only allows 5kHz steps... closest I can get it 144.145.

I deleted the default and put in my own. Perhaps change the default?

Thank you!!!!
