Sounds good Jim,  we should finish December off with using NA0TA club call announcing the culmination of our 10th full year of the current Nata Net.

Ted/  I promised certificates for those working in January, and in December.

I Will take care of that .

My evenings are starting to free up on the weekends but, sadly, my trusty TS-480 has transmit issues limiting it to about 5 watts output. I’m hoping to do something about that in the next few weeks with the goal being to be back on the air by Christmas!!!

We will have an 80 meter net several nights a week for the next few weeks or longer,

But will also have the normal 40meter net as well by scheduled net controllers.

80 Meters will start with WB1BR, Brandin in Maine.   Be sure to check netlogger for

Frequencies and times of startup around 7:00 eastern each night, until 8 or 8 30.

40 meters will start as always   6:00 eastern to 8:00 eastern.

This weekend we will be having ARRL sweepstakes that may or may not interfere with

The nets.

Be sure you have a clear frequency Net Controllers.

We would like to begin using our club call NA0TA for the entire month of December in

Celebrating our 10th anniversary that began in January 2019.  More details will follow.

80 Meter net

Ted Hadfield, KU8F

Schedule for 80 meter net this winter.   Our 40 meter net schedule remains the same.

Brandin is a former Alaskan, located in Caribou Maine.

Hello Ted,

We ran the 80m net over this past weekend and it has taken off quite well.  I think the best place to have it may be the upper end of the band.  I am hoping I can get input from others and see what is going to work.  I will run it on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays through the winter.  We will start taking checkins around 6:30pm Eastern Time and begin running the list at 7:00pm Eastern Time.

It looks like we can do a good two hour net when all is said and done.  Despite the QRM from some places it seems to be doing quite well.  We will keep driving on and see where it goes.  Thanks again for letting me do this and look forward to watching it grow through the winter.

73,

Brandin S. Hess - WB1BR

Hi Ted,

Can you elaborate a little more. I need to know how NetLogger is wrong? is it wrong by 15, 30 or 60 minutes.. And
From my understanding since I live in the east and some of us do, I like to get everything explained to me like a child, I start the Net at 6PM and end it at 8PM then hand it over to OMISS . . Now if that is wrong please let us know.

Thanks,
