Crikey that's gone up - don't pensioners get a cheaper one, after all we
might not last the full 10 years.....and both ours are due more or less at
the same time.....Mr Brown better come up with a decent pension increase...I

Den, maybe with the full-stop but as I don't know how you actually search
for these things, I don't know...as you have done some research perhaps you
will know best.

As Alan says if you go to France and use their aires, they always refer to
them as camping cars, and I think to be honest, it is a good description and
probably better than motorhome that we tend to call it over here.

That sounds good to me, do we just want one word or do we divide it

Joking aside, customs & excise have the right to apply UK duty on 'excess

It has even been known for drivers of Ducatos with the special high capacity
fuel tank to be 'asked about it' even though it is only 135L!!

Vanhomewiki

Homerwiki

What do you think? Difficult to think of a name that would be instantly
recognisable to everyone as motorhoming related.

How about ukmotorhomeswiki, it echoes the name of Andy's web site so
should be easy to remember.
That's ok, but a bit of a mouthful, also ukmotorhomes.net exists and is
quite a popular site. How about an acronym? Something like motivewiki
(MOTor caraVan campEr)? OK, pretty poor but something along those lines
maybe?

Sadly, I had already thought of that one as well. It is already in use,
in a slightly modified form, on a Brazilian site.

Subject: [MH-list] mhwiki or what?

Hi all,
I have been playing around with the wiki over the holiday and, now that
it is all working correctly and is being used, I want to make it more
accessible. I have done some checking on the web and 'mhwiki' is used
by more sites than I ever thought creditable. Would you belive there
really is a 'Mouse Hunt Wiki' out there. More to the point, they got
there before us so they rate higher in the charts than we do. So, what
I would like to do is ask for suggestions for a name for the mhwiki
that will be much easier to find in the search engines and also may be
worthy of a domain name. I have checked up on a few of my own
ideas, 'camperpedia' came to mind but that is already in use elseware.
Please offer your suggestions in this thread and let's hope we can find
a good alternative to mhwiki.

It was -4ºC here in Bristol at 09.00. -7ºC when I awoke in the night
sometime.

But, as you suggest, slip it into the Euro equation and it skews the rate
considerably. Along with quality of the food and drink, and the service.

I am renewing my passport this very day.
