Marty <camping.car@...>

Republic of Ireland is often an exculsion on some rental insurance policies,
or a premium to be paid at least.
You will also find, as i ahve with one or two souces I've trid today, that
many rentals are booked for several weeks, or even over 2 months (sometimes
more!) a head at this time of year.

All I can suggest is keep trying & hope.

If I can find anything I'll post.

Marty.

Lidl again

Marjorie Clarke <mjc@...>

At our local Lidl. I've just bought a pump-spray bottle of Insect Remover
(for paintwork and glass) for 79p. Cautious experimentation leads me to
think this might be quite a good buy.

What they ought to have warned me is that if you decide to try it out on one
small section of a dirty white van, it makes the rest of the van look even
dirtier...

This week the fleece sleeping bags are back in for £5.99. We have had a
pair of green ones for many years. A few weeks ago the zips gave up and I
had to sew them together. This time they are in red or blue as well as
green. Ideal in winter when cold as a lining for ordinary sleeping bags .
Or on their own in summer when its hot.

I saw one of those but maybe they had more. Can you zip two together to make
a double?

Funny place Lidl. They had what they described as sarongs but they were
about the size of a decent scarf and as thin as a cobweb. You could have
stuffed the whole thing in a matchbox. Certainly wouldn't leave much to the
imagination if you tried to wear one as a garment.

I hope so we could the green ones. Havn't used the new ones yet.

Insects

dave harrison <chippard@...>

Hi All,
I can remember those plastic boat shaped butterflies that fitted on
the bonnet, deflecting the air and insects away from the windscreen. I had
one, as did many others and it seemed to work quite well! Perhaps they
should be tried again.
Regards,
Dave C.
