I ordered one a couple of years back from a Singapore start-up
company. If I was looking to buy I'd go for similar specs. It had
suspension and broad fat tyres - good for coping with potholes etc.

The EU regs on bikes are the same as U.K. Max speed 25 kph (15mph) except for Germany have a faster one but it has to have insurance and a licence. In UK bikes are NOT allowed on most pavements. But

Re: E-scooters from Saturday
I don’t get why bikes can’t ride on pavements and through shopping places but scooters can’t.
I think European ones can go faster. By they sort these things out I’ll be too old to use one!!

Travel/medical insurance
I've just found an insurer who will cover us for a 94 day single trip either to Portugal or Turkey
The cost was £515 with "good to go insurance", there's no upper age limit.
We might get three months

Insured as a full-timer with Comfort I have unlimited mileage. Then my
premium three times what have been quoted by some of you.
Interesting that Comfort doesn't have the no-claims discounts.

Re: Car insurance renewal
And if you don’t complete the mileage agreed then you get a discount on next year’s premium as there was less chance of you having an accident. .
Or maybe not :)

Re: Car insurance renewal
No it is not cumulative, it resets each year.
If you pay for say 5000 miles and you drive 4000, then everything is fine. If you pay for 5000 miles and do 6000 miles in theory you will get surcharged
