Re: airconditioning
This unit relies on DRY AIR to work best. It's an evaporative air cooler (a mini 'swamp-cooler') but if the air is already as "damp" as it normally is in the UK, then the "evaporation" is markedly

Re: airconditioning
Hi,
Evaporative coolers are OK ish provided that the ambient humidity is low.
I bought a simple one from B&Q years ago, it did cool the air very slightly but it has since sat in the loft for years

I looked at something similar on FB yesterday. There were quite a lot of negative comments.
I suspect you would need to have the door closed or sit I front of it to a get a noticeable effect.

for such.
Wondered what others think or even maybe

Well that wasn't right either as apparently I was converting US gals. My new calculation is 7.06 litres per 100 km = 40 mpg - UK gallons.
Is that right? Confuse? I am.

I don't think we have ever gone metric really. Just as well for me as I haven't a clue whether 5.88036 litres per 100 km is better than 40 mpg.

PS They are the same.

Ah the perils of being a historian. The cubit was a biblical measurement. The medieval measurements would be the yard, foot and inch with hands for horses and rod, pole or perch for something a bit

I must admit a couple of these e-scooters sound like a good solution to me for when we go away in the van. Any idea how far they can go on a charge and how long it takes to fully charge? At the moment
