It’s as well to remember that “AOK” is, at best, around 90% protection
against COVID. Which means 1 in 10 will still contract it if they come in
close proximity to an infected person for a reasonable length of time -
particularly if indoors, however, in the main they will be less severely
affected.

So it’s still social distancing, masks and outside meeting wherever
possible for me despite having had the 2 jabs. In fact not much will
change. I’ll not be hugging anything other than very close relatives and
trees. I’ll also forgo the site facilities and avoid inviting anyone into
our van.

Stay safe - stay very cautious.

No.  Both Duncan and I had ours on 28/1 and next on 15/4. No problems. Just had a slight headache as I went to bed but nothing afterwards. Duncan never even felt the jab!!!

I’m overweight diabetic on insulin and have high blood pressure and a pacemaker. So all in all not great

Better to have the na. Than Covid!!!

When to replace brake fluid

Buff and Hugh

Our Transit van has driven 8,000 miles in its first 19 months. An "oil change needed" warning message has prompted us to book its first service, and we have opted for a "2 year service" rather than a "1 year inspection" + oil change on the basis that we would probably need to have a 2 year service within a few months anyway.

The garage has asked whether we want the brake fluid changed. Although this is recommended after 2 years it is apparently not part of the regular 2 year service. We're told that the lapse of time is the major factor in determining when an oil change is needed, but we wonder whether the low mileage might justify a delay in having that done. We would welcome advice.

No. Where did you get that idea from?

UK sellers and buyers are now suffering as forecast by many who opposed brexit.

But we live in a so-called democracy. Everyone has to live by the
rules chosen by the majority.

At the last election, the Conservatives got only 43.6% of the popular
vote. But they had a majority of over 80 seats. Is that democratic?

Hello Alan

Are you saying that these people forecast COVID?

They seem to be supplying these now.

They look very similar to Peggy Peggs but don’t have the specific item that I was looking for.

They do the mirror guards for motorhomes, if you search for mirrorguards you will find him. I bought my Peggy peg awning tie down kit from him at a show but he now does a similar product but there is still the same kit.

Possibly not as I had probably ordered them by then.

I think they were the people that I originally ordered from. Can you remind me of their name again pleases. Mainly supply car mirrors or something similar.

Thanks

In the amateure radio world, we are already seeing many examples of
European manufacturers and suppliers no longer supplying to the UK.
Those that do are seeing excessive charges from carriers before
delivery.

I ordered another Logitech BT mouse from Amazon UK on the 18th.
Delivery (Prime) expected 24th March as coming from an EU warehouse.

I've got a friend in Germany with his address on my Amazon UK account
for about 10 years. I would order for him to bring over on his next
visit to the UK, or I'd collect when I visited him.

But Covid has stopped this.

Alan.
