It seems to me that the price is not out of court and I see little evidence
that the Navteq TRANSPORT alternative is going to arrive on a consumer
product at a sensible price , and working, any time soon so it might be a
winner - I would like to see a review in PocketGPS now.

Don't know if this is old news but I haven't seen it mentioned on the
list. TomTom trucks have now brought out the large vehicle
solution--have a look at

Could be the answer for many who don't always like "the
