Re: Construction comments
Howard,
Thanks for your comments.
The tape on the paddle connectors has to be removed - its purpose is to serve as a holding point for automatic placement on the PCB by the pick & place robot.

Hello Willi,
I like you approach of "not checking" the paddle for a certain time after the dit. For my understanding, the pause after the dit IS PART OF THE DIT and therefore one could really decide

Hello Willi
Thank you so much for this kit. I love it.
The board is beautifully designed and the finished product is easy to use.
The Detailed Assembly Instructions are excellent and I put it together

Battery charging
Willi
Great job with the kit, it was easy to put together and worked immediately.
However I am having a problem with the battery charging. I am using a 1000mAh 3.7V battery which appears to register

I couldn’t find the remark about black solder mask on the eevblog - what is wrong with it?
Sorry for the other inconveniences with the PCB - this was pretty

Re: Battery charging
I have had to charge externally for best results. Wake up screen will then show 50% battery and I get a lot of operating time. Perhaps this is due to the charging protection in the battery?
I'm glad

Bug: Tone Shift in Echo Mode does not work
AS DK4RW rightly pointed out to me, there is currently a bug in Version 1.0: no matter how you set the parameter for Echo Tone Shift, the resulting tone is not changed. I have identified the issue and

I am not sure at all if these batteries have an internal charger or not. I will try and get hold of the exact model you have recommended. I can not find it in Ireland unless I buy 6 at the same

What battery is everyone using? I'm looking at the Tattu battery posted on the Morserino page and the size of the battery listed is bigger than the max dimensions.
Thanks
Chris
