Metro DX Club Meeting Announcement

Hello All, The October meeting of the Metro DX Club will be this Friday, October 18th, 7:30pm, at our usual spot, the Tinley Park Emergency Mgt Agency, 17355 S 68th Ct., Tinley Park. Our program this month is the 2019 Metro Field Day wrap-up with slides of our antenna setups, operating positions and more. Come and check it out. As a bonus this month, Mike K9LSH will present some photos and talk about his recent visit to Portugal and Spain. We are meeting at 5:30pm for a pre meeting dinner at Bailey's, 17731 Oak Park Ave, Tinley Park, 708-429-7955. All are welcome. See you there

VU7RI was spotted on 20 FT8. They are supposed to be active Oct 10 – 30 according to what I saw some time ago. I have not heard India or any Asia except some UA9s in quite some time. This will be a real challenge. Need on every band except 20.
Enjoy chasing T30GC and VP6R. They are both doing super on 160 and 80.
