Thank you so much for pledging to walk for Ragheed. By walking, we are showing Ragheed that he is not forgotten and challenging international decision makers to take political steps to secure his release – and all of Syria's detainees.
It's simple to take part
1. Now just plan when you will get outside for a walk in your neighborhood or in nature in the next week. Why not invite friends and family to join you, and encourage others to join by posting this image on your social media?

And offer this QR code to people you meet on your walk to encourage them to sign up too:

2. Share photos of your walk on social media using #WalkForRagheed and demand freedom for Ragheed and tens of thousands of people who are arbitrarily detained and forcibly disappeared by the Syrian regime. Here's a sample post that you can share after you've done your walk:
Photos from my #WalkforRagheed al-Tatari, Syria’s longest-serving political prisoner. He is one of tens of thousands of arbitrarily detained people in Syria. Sign up to walk too and demand international steps to #freedetainees in Syria! 👉act.thesyriacampaign.org/sign/walk-for-ragheed/
3. If you can't do a walk, send a message of support to info@...
4. Forward this email to your friends and family to ask them to Walk for Ragheed too:
Ragheed al-Tatari is Syria’s longest-serving political prisoner. On November 24, he will have been detained by the Syrian regime for 41 years without charges or proper trial. This week, people around the world are pledging to walk to demand that he finally walks free. Together, we aim to reach 75 million steps pledged – a rough estimate of the steps Ragheed missed out on taking during 41 years in detention. Will you join?
