Thank you Nao Hong.  This is the first real, concrete, on the ground eye-witness account of the state of the Ukraine military and its situation I have seen from here in the USA.  Virtually all of mainstream media reportage from "on the ground" in Ukraine is encased in a think layer of manipulative propaganda and is typically devoid of facts on the Ukrainian military situation in particular.  That means one must rely upon pro-Russian sources for any military information and naturally that is quite tainted.

However Alexander Shurman does confirm what I have read from the Russian side about a shift to artillery barrages, with the increased use of drones making these barrages potentially more accurate and deadly.  Shurman also confirms pro-Russian claims of marginal gains around the "Kramatorsk salient".  Whether these artillery barrages are preparation for something bigger is unknown.  However this current report from the Khiv Independent, despite obvious propaganda bias normal for a war, suggests the answer is, No:

Reinforcement with additional Russian forces from elsewhere should be detectable by satellite, but there is no such information.  It may be that the Russians are content to keep this conflict at a relatively "medium" level of intensity for some time, so long as it is destructive for Ukraine.  This would correspond to the US/NATO unwillingness to escalate their proxy participation beyond what they are presently prepared to sustain.

Thank for your comment.

I am mostly looking and sitting in telegram with sometimes trying to get info from Discord OSINT communities.

Situation is a big fog of war with both sides downplaying damage and their real and initial goals. It is why I recommend to read my other interview with Ingmar https://www.thecommunists.net/rcit/interview-with-socialist-from-ukraine-27-feb-2022/

However, consider following. While Northern parts and Kiev part was a mostly failed effort of Russian offense. South part of campaign was a huge gain with using little forces Russia had. Mariupol and Kherson were taken with less significant effort ensuring a big corridor from Crimea to Eastern parts. Right now Arestovich tries to curb and downplay as usual such failures by saying of "small" Russian gains. While Blitzkrieg was a failure it is a still big gains with several important industrial and shipping areas.
