Again, the Socialist Party has joined with the Green Party in support of Hawkins. Under normal circumstances there would be more let solidarity around a Green Candidate for all the reasons listed but at this moment, the existential threat posed by Trump and the extreme right lead many on the left to support the Dims even as we organize to fight them post selection. A key element of authentic Marxism is a firm recognition of concrete realities.
