Just a quick update....

I was able to get SDR++ working with FLdigi and FLrig, with the SDRplay being connected to my RF out port on the FTdx3000.  (there is a new version of the SW that supports 22.04 (jammy)

Some pointed to cat-relay-master - which worked just fine with SDR++ .  I tested this with both FLdigi and FLrig - that latter using the command "python3 listen.py flrig.py" and then firing up SDR++ (and selecting Rigctl Server | start).  I will embed in my startup scripts.

I have a bunch more experimentation - RF vs. IF, levels, offsets, etc..  I actually had JTDX, FLrig, FLdigi, CQRlog, Gridtracker, and SDR++ all running, and interacting.

If anyone was successful with FLrig / CubicSDR - please advise.  My gut tells me that CubicSDR may not actually work with FLRig - but I have no way of testing other than the menu pick within the app (that I compiled, with hamlib).  CubicSDR can control the FTdx3000 and respond to changes from the rig - but that defeats the value of applications that interact.  I did try to use socat, without success.

The FLseries packs quite a punch - I use it on 3 different rigs - thanks Dave / others.

Hi all -

I am using Ubuntu nearly full time for Ham apps - and I would like to incorporate my SDRplay into the mix (as a panadapter / off the IF).  

Wonder if anyone has successfully gotten FLRig to drive CubicSDR or FLDigi on SDR++?  

I compiled CubicSDR with hamlib, and I can get the app to control the FTdx3000.  However, I would like FLrig to be the controlling authority (ideally with bidirectional interaction the way FLrig works with FLdigi / JTDX etc?

Tried socat to create pairs... without any success.

Ideas?
