Re: PDRA Monday night Dstar net.
Mark Hinkel
To Jim and All,
Thank you Jim, you have done more than your job at Philadelphia Digital Radio. You tenure as net control is admirable.
Summer time is after all vacation time, not the best time to have nets or club meetings. Several clubs specifically do not hold meetings during the Summer because of low attendance.
Let me suggest that K3PDR suspend the Monday night net for the month of August and pick things up after labor Day. I'm sure there are several club members who will share the net control duties and we can work out a monthly schedule for each of us.

All good things must come to an end as they say. Hopefully as the pandemic fades into history, face to face club activities will begin again and we can reinvigorate the club into the premier organization that's its been.
Thanks to all those who been a part of the net with me all these years. Hopefully I'll see you at a club meeting soon. Chat with you on the air.

From: Mark Hinkel <mrhinkel@...> To: Mark Hinkel <mrhinkel@...> Sent: Sun, Jul 18, 2021 6:34 pm Subject: Kimberton Wrap-up and Reading RC Hamfest Flyer I have posted multiple pics from the
Kimberton Hamfest on the Warminster ARC and Penn Wireless Facebook
pages. If you are logged onto FB, you can go look now. These are open
pages on Facebook Groups.
I had a freebie table setup in recognition of several local hams who have died from Lou Gehrig's disease. Allan (W3AEH) Denise (KB3ANO) and Dave (WI3Y). All money in the coffee can at end of day goes to the ALS Foundation. We collected $250... thank you all..!! Last call for the Electrophonic stereo w/ phonograph and 8 track on the left before we give it to the thrift store. The 8 track unit is also a recording unit with 2 microphones... and a pile of 8 track tapes. The shelf goes with the stereo; bookshelf speakers at the top, then the Garrard phonograph, next down is the stereo receiver and 8 track player/recorder, bottom is storage for the 8 track tapes. Send me an email "off list" if you're interested. I'm home all week... And
of course the next hamfest in the Southeast Pa area is Reading Radio
Club. This is held on Saturday August 8th in Sinking Spring, just West of Reading. Vendors
at 7am and general public at 8am. See Google maps for location;

Thanks for that link. I use K3FEF in Milford, Pa. One use is to listen to my transmission to check my signal. The biggest way I use it is when I'm on the NBEMS nets during the weekend mornings. I run a second computer using Fldigi with a virtual sound port listening to K3FEF through the Internet. This is handy when I don't hear a station directly I usually can copy it using the WEB SDR, especially when I am net control on the Pa NBEMS Net. 73, Ron NY3J

All, Please be advised internet is down at Mermaid Lane site due to a Comcast problem and will not return until tomorrow morning. We have been at the site all day and on the phone with Comcast. For those of you working the 13 colony event this evening, alternate access for digital modes will be needed. I am scheduled for DStar tonight and will try to go in using an alternate portal. Digital Voice contacts are not counted in LOTW so I just keep them separate. Bob
Steve— the instructions say send the spreadsheet to wm3pen@... Which is what I did with the Fusion/WIRES-X contacts I made.

Final question .. How do I convert the finalized "contacts-spread sheet" into an ADIF format? Or shall I just send the spread sheet to you afterwards?
