WLM Curiousity
JERRY MARTIN
Good Morning all.
Using WLM (the current version) and JAWS 2018 and Windows 10, I was curious
as to where my deleted contacts go to. Is it into the recycle bin, or the
deleted items folder. Thanks.

why would you want to use windows live mail with windows 10 when there's already a built in e-mail client in windows10. also, there's no support for those who use windows live mail. the Microsoft accessibility desk won't help you.

Probably because it is easier to use and more powerful than the built in
mail app for Win 10.
The lack of support is not a drawback since the program is so straight
forward that after a short learning curve none of it’s users need support.

Well, I’m using WLM here in Windows 7, and have been for over five years
now. It is indeed straightforward and very easy to use. I’ve never needed
support for it. If I can keep using it when I go to Windows 10 I certainly
will.
It sure ain’t broke so why would I fix it?

I am using it with Win 10 and so are many others. It works great. The only
little glitch is that the installer is no longer available on the web, and I
seem to remember that I had to install a new copy when going to Win 10.
I have the .exe file and will try to post a link for those of you who want
it. I only have the copy which uses the ribbons but someone else may have the
copy that uses the virtual menus.

no? what I'm saying is? if you don't have office, then? spellcheck will not be available in windows live mail, nor any other email client. you would need to install a standalone spellchecking program, if you do in fact have office, then? you should have spellcheck in windows live mail, or any other other email client.

You may be correct on this as I have had Microsoft Office for many years.
But it seems odd that the option to spell check before sending is in the WLM
Options if you had to have Office. I do know that Outlook Express did require
the office spell checker but not so sure about WLM.
