Hi All,
A friend is running Windows 7 32 bit & Jaws 13 or 15, I'm
not quite sure which. Anyways, I need to install Openbook on his
computer. What is the earliest / oldest version that will work on Windows
7 32 bit? He has Openbook 7, will this work? All advice will be

about the only thing that might not work when you try to install it is the freedom import printer program.

difference, either or, is considered totally ancient as far as computer
technology goes these days! LOL LOL The person I'm installing
it for is more than 5 times the 15 years age of OB7 so they'll get along
quite well.

When I set up my current Windows 7 desktop three years ago, I was told by Freedom Scientific that I needed to update from Open Book 7 to OB 9 because the older version, which I was using on my XP machine, would not work. They charged me about $300 for the upgrade.

There are two versions of Openbook 8: 1 works with windows 7 and one does not. I remember FS sending me the disk for the Windows 7 version when I upgraded my computer. It is probably on the Vispero website, but I haven't had to look for it.
