In order for the OCR component to install with JAWS, you have to have an internet connection. The OCR install files are on the FS site so you can install them later.

Yes I do find that narrator for certain things works better than jfw or nvda.

For all intents and purposes it doesn't matter what email client it is. Open an app / program where you want to insert the emoji, it can be a web page, a messenger, or some text editor app / program.

It’s only supposed to turn on if your hardware (and drivers and such) are comaptible with it. So if you have a newer version of Windows 10 and can’t seem to get it to turn on, I’d just leave it.
