Hello Jorge;

you're absolutely right, unfortunately, finding this button to enable is very difficult.

I solve my issue doing the following;

If anyone is interested in using the Microsoft online tech support;

I have shortened the URL:

go to:

https://tinyurl.com/yc3ptybg

on this page, you'll need to provide your Microsoft username,

most likely you're email, or phone number,

go to next,

now you need to provide your password,

go next,

now you're being connected to a representative.

Note, I was at first a little reluctant, but I decided to surge on.

once you are connected,

you have a little text chat with the tech, outlining your problem.

note, jaws works well with the texting.

most likely, the tech will ask if you want a remote access session,

if you say yes,

a link, and a code are provided.

before you enter on the link, you need to copy the code to clipboard.

the link is something like,

www.123rescue.com

once you enter on the link,

the next task is to find the I agree button to the license agreement.

when this is done, you then need to put your code in, this will then allow you to install some temporary remote software.

your now finally able to be remotely accessed by the tech.

hope this helps someone.

Hi David,

Everything sounded good, but when you select less secure apps must be turn on. I had the same issue with Google.

HTH,

Jorge,

There is no better symbol for the purpose we serve than the emblem every Marine earns: the Eagle, Globe and Anchor. The eagle represents the proud nation we defend. It stands at the ready with our coastlines in sight and the entire world within reach of its outstretched wings. The globe represents our worldwide presence. The anchor points both to the Marine Corps' naval heritage and its ability to access any coastline in the world. Together, the eagle, globe and anchor symbolize our commitment to defend our nation—in the air, on land and at sea.

Good morning all;

perhaps someone has an answer here.  A client of mine wishes to use his yahoo email account in outlook 2016.

we are able to setup the email account, however it's not excepting the password. then I learned, you need to go into the info account settings, choose account security settings, then choose allow less secure apps.

however, I don't see any checkbox to check. has yahoo stopped access?

the email settings used are,

incoming server:  imap.mail.yahoo.com

outgoing server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com

incoming port:  993 ssl/tls,

outgoing port:  465 or, 587 ssl/tls,

we are able to sign into his account on the web.

I encountered this same problem several months ago, immediately after DC installed an update. I tried removing and reinstalling DC, but that did not fix the problem. I finally removed DC and reinstalled version XI. I installed all of the available updates and have been using it to access PDF files with no further problems. I know that some will jump up and down and scream that there are security issues that exist in older versions of Reader. While that is correct, I feel it is a very low risk for me. It is more important that I can get my work done without fighting with software that stops working with my screen reader because of an update.

Hi Tom,

I downloaded Reader XI from:

https://www.techspot.com/downloads/345-adobe-reader.html

I downloaded the 11.0.0 version and after install allowed it to update to the latest XI version. I then disabled automatic updates in the preferences, otherwise it will update to DC and start the problems again.

From the Adobe site, you are suppose to be able to download older versions, but I could not get that feature to work for me.

BTW, I am running Windows 7, not Win 10, so can't confirm how XI will run on Win 10.
