You'd lose a lot of formatting by pasting the document though, and changing
the view won't actually change the document, just how you "see" it.

Depending on why you are deleting the graphics and what you hope to retain,
you could also select all and paste into Notepad and then paste back to
Word. I think you can also use draft view to eliminate a bunch of this.

Hey Kimsan.

You should be able to do this using find and replace.

It’s been a long time so I looked it up just to be sure, but if this doesn’t work, I think there is another more complicated way to do it with a macro. Let’s hope this works though.

Press ctrl-f and then the search button to get a list of options. GO to find and replace. In the search box type “^g” without the quotes. Put nothing in the “replace” box. Press “replace all”.

I noticed there’s also a “graphics” option in the menu that appears when you hit the “search” button, but I can’t think of a Word document to test it on at the moment to see if it works or what it does.

Re: Foobar 2000

JM Casey

I have it.

“works better” is a totally subjective assessment.

I will say that it’s a very good player and, unlike winamp, still updated, though infrequently. It also, like winamp, doesn’t take advantage of Wasapi audio standard that has been a part of windows since, uh, I think Vista.

It’s not something I would recommend for everyone; it is completely operable from the keyboard but, here’s the catch/thing that some will find unbelievable, others will find really cool, and the rest will just say, “I don’t have time for this stuff”—you have to define all your own keyboard commands. So it takes a while to set up, and you will probably have to experiment a bit before you have everything to your liking. You can set global keys so that you can control the player from any window, but you have to be very careful not to cause any conflict with keyboard commands from other programmes.

Thanks David and Mike,

That is a handy thing to set for proof reading.  I can’t stand hearing punctuation normally, but when I am proof reading, either with braille or speech, I focus on making sure the punctuation is correct.  This will make that task much easier.

Thanks,

Richard

Hi,

I’m using jaws 18 through 2019 and latest windows 10, how do I change the payment method on the hulu website?

I googled it, and it told me to look for payments, I searched for the word payment on the site, but found nothing.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

Thankyou,

Sincerely,

Kimsan Song
