This is probably a useless suggestion, but are you making sure that the Chrome window is maximized. I have a hot key set to run it maximized and sometimes a Windows update will change the properties and remove the hot key.

Rebecca, it's reassuring to know the experience isn't unique to me, although I don't mean to say that misery loves company. The next time Chrome and JAWS get into a tiff with each other, I'll close and restart JAWS. At least it's less radical than rebooting the computer. Thanks.

Its completely accessible, Greg, with either
self-voicing or you can just use Jaws. You can calibrate your checks to be
printed if you want.

I have been using Quicken 2003 for years as my check register. However I recently bought a new computer running latest Windows 10 and latest Jaws 2018. I tried to install Quicken 2003 from the program disk but cannot get it to accept my personal.qdf file from my old computer. So I would like to know if there is another fairly simple check register I can install on my new computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Greg Washington

Thanks, Ann. FS/VFO's explanation for this setting is that it affects only "say all" reading, but I turned it off anyway and so far "quick keys" is off each time I return to Word. It looks like you've solved

Re: PDF Question

Hi Mike,
I don't know if the steps below will work, but
you can give them a try to see if they help, it's worth a
shot.
1. Open
Acrobat Reader and press, Alt + E, to open the edit menu
2. Arrow up to, Accessibility submenu and press enter. 3. Arrow to Setup Assistant and press enter. 4. Tab to, Next, and press the spacebar to open. 5. Now, you should be on screen 2 of 5.
Tab through each screen pressing the spacebar on the next button for each screen
until you reach screen 5 of 5. On screen 5 if you tab a couple of times
you'll come to,
Reopen documents to the last viewed page press the spacebar to checkthis box, and tab to the, Done, button, and press enter to save and close. Please let the list know if this does what you
wanted. Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers! Sennt from my iBarstool. Arguing with a woman is like reading a software license agreement. In the end you have to ignore everything, & click I agree.

Re: JAWS and Chrome stop working together after a while

Thanks for the msinfo32 command. However, I don't seem to be getting JAWS to read all the details. For example, within the hardware section there's a line saying simply "Memory." I can't get any elaboration, such as by pressing F6, enter or right-arrow.

For the record, I have 16 gigs of RAM, so memory doesn’t explain my Chrome problem.
