Re: moving ms files
You’re welcome; it is indeed.
Learning as many tricks as you can with file explorer and the run dialogue box will improve your PC experience immensely, I think.

Re: moving ms files
Hi.
Do you know the letter assigned to the drive?
If so, the easiest is to open the run box with windows key +r, and type in the drive letter followed by a colon.
If you don’t know the drive

Re: moving ms files
Hey jerry…
It should work with any files, anywhere on your system, so long as you have the right user privileges.

Re: moving ms files
There are lots of ways you can do it, but probably the quickest and most user-friendly is to open the two folders (IE, your external drive and wherever inside the folder structure you want to paste

Re: moving ms files
It's safer to copy and paste them, and after they are copied successfully, you can delete them from the source if you wish.
Moving is cut and paste, which as I mentioned, is risky with files.

Re: Suggestion to jaws
It was a suggestion. I think they could say yes or no. Unless you work for them?

Re: Suggestion to jaws
The Audible website couldn’t be easier to navigate. No need to clutter JAWS with more services that are likely to change over time.

Suggestion to jaws
Regarding research it. I use audible alot. I would love if research it can be added to it. It will make it easy to search for an audiobook that I want to purchase.

Re: default script file
Experience has revealed that it is better to work in the my extensions script file rather than the default. I am not an expert scripter but I do have some practical history with those things.

Re: tab close warning
I just tested control-w, and it worked as advertised on my system. However, my habit is to use control-F4. I mentioned control-w only because others have done so here.

Re: What makes ALT catch?
Joseph,
Call MSA and see, what they say?
I’m sure we all have experience this sometime and agree a hard shutdown is the remedy.

Actually,
Where I get in trouble is with Control-W. Seems like it closes down all tabs. Is there a setting I've messed up?

Thanks, Dave. Your summary saved me some time, and the control-shift-t alternative looks like a good solution.
Again, for anyone wondering, to avoid closing all tabs, just take care to close

Mike and all,
According to that article, one of the resolutions was to install the Google Extension Toolbox. However subsequent searching turns up that Google has permanently removed that
