When I boot up the computer narrator doubles with jaws and when I shut down the computer narrator doubles with jaws. So far I have only heard narrator with bootup and shutdown.

in there case they also want to alt tab to open the narrator screen and find and turn off ,run on log on. or else it will just keep running every time the computer is booted.

usually when narrator is running you can alt tab to open the main screen. in there are the options to run on log on. uncheck this and save the change. to turn it on or off its either shift control
