I too am experiencing some anomalies with J2019. I am awaiting the next build to see if they are fixed. Fortunately, I have not had Tom's problem - JAWS not reading text when it's plainly

I have gone back to using the standard alt f7. The shortcut keys don’t work and I need to tab to them but otherwise I find it meets my needs and enables me to check by spelling or by grammatical

Don’t use alt + F7 that brings up a different thing. Just use F7 then try the shortcut keys in the spell checker dialog box.

David, I notice that between "JAWS" and "ENU," you wrote "JAWS 19" instead of 2019. Could this explain it? I doubt it. But I just went through the entire path again on my system, and configNames.ini

I posted the file inside of an email.
You have to create a file called
Confignames.ini

I believe this is a google issue.
It happend using all three screen readers on my computer.
f5 helps the problem and my problem eventually went away. I may have also checked to be sure I was on the
