Sure, if you open windows live mail, use keystroke, ctrl+shift+o=options, now, ctrl+tab to spelling page,
if you have office, you can setup the spell check.
if you need to use a standalone

You may be correct on this as I have had Microsoft Office for many years. But it seems odd that the option to spell check before sending is in the WLM Options if you had to have Office. I do know that

yes, you most likely need a file called
configNames.ini
and need to be placed into the jaws enu folder.
if you want I can send you the file, or, I could try to connect with you.

no? what I'm saying is?
if you don't have office, then? spellcheck will not be available in windows live mail, nor any other email client. you would need to install a standalone spellchecking

Hi. I ultimately called JAWS support. They installed a file whose name I forget in my JAWS settings folder. At first it didn’t fix the problem but now it works properly. Go figure.

You mean I do not have spell checker on WLM is because I have office? Did I get that right. If so, does not make any sence. I think I just misspell

Welcome to the club. This has been an ongoing bug for some of us Jaws users going back to the 2019 beta. For a lot of folks, it’s been fixed, but alas, not all.

I have a spell checker with WLM and never had to install anything other than the program. You just need to set the option to spell check prior to sending.

Just a matter of opinion and I don’t want to start any kind of argument. I have tried the Mail app and it does not work for me. Great thing is, we can use the programs we like best.

Okay, I admit it, I’ve been a bit slow about installing the latest version of JAWS. Guess I’ll have to slap the CD in and install it and then see what happens with my Excel.

Re: JAWS Is Crashing My Excel
When I first moved to JAWS 2018 from Window Eyes, I was having issues with Excel 2016 crashing when I had large files with pivot tables and/or filters turned on. AS I recall, JAWS would go silent
