Yes I do. I like the Samantha voice best. I listen to her all day every day. But you know what? I would like to have the Alexa voice on the echo. I wish that that voice was available to us jaws users.

Re: anyone out hear using the vocalizer voices for Jaws and if so witch one do you like the best
Van Lant, Robin
I'm using compact Nathan for the PC cursor and Samantha for the JAWS cursor. I tried the Nathan Enhanced version and did not like it as well. Overall, Vocalizer as a synthesizer is nicer for clarity to my hearing, but has some default pronunciations and ways that it expands abbreviations that I really wish I could change. I made what pronunciation changes I can with JAWS, but Vispero confirmed the assumptions of what abbreviations mean cannot be changed on my end.

I do wish there was a way to test each of the voices without having to download them first. If you know of a way, let me know.

Re: Handing meeting requests in office 365.
Van Lant, Robin
Using Office 365 here with JAWS 2019 and there are two ways I respond to meeting requests. From yoru inbox, you can hit the applications key on the meeting invitation and you'll see, Accept, Tentative and decline in the application menu. Alternativvely, if you have the meeting invitation open, the accept, tentative and decline options are on the Meeting ribbon, which is the default ribbon you are on when you open the invitation. Note that when you click those buttons, a sub menu opens to ask if you want to respond with or without comments. If you select comments, focus will move to where you can type a message then I think it's Alt S to send the reply.

I had this same problem. A call to FS help line and they solved the problem for me in about 4 minutes. If this problem persists I would suggest a call to them for help. They can solve the problem for you.

Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2019 8:54 AM To: JAWS Users List Subject: [jaws-users] About Captcha
I have not followed the thread closely, but thought I’d share an experience I had yesterday. I use Chrome as my browser and I’m always signed in because I have a Gmail account. I needed to submit a form on a website. The form had one of those, “I am not a robot” check boxes. I pressed the space bar and the submit button appeared as promised. I submitted the form. I got an immediate response saying that it had been successful. I did not go anywhere to register pages with Google. Just for the purposes of experimentation, I went back to the same site this morning, but this time, using Internet Explorer. The check box would not respond to the space bar. There was a link asking if I would like an audio version, presumably of whatever had to be typed in. So, use Chrome, signed into Google, and captchas will not be a problem. Rebecca

If you want to run a Jaws version that still has Outlook Express scripts,
install the latest version of Jaws 16. Any Jaws versions newer than J16
will not have the Outlook Express scripts. To read the message headers
they'll have to be turned on and arranged in the order you want them in the View
menu / Columns. You also need to go into the Jaws context menu / Option /
Manage application settings and make sure that MSIMN, MSOE & Outlook Express
are checked. I don't know if you will have these settings on your computer
but, that's what I have. You will probably have to label some graphics as
well.

Outlook Express I know Mike D has Outlook Express running with Windows 10.
I just upgraded from using OE with Windows 7 to Windows 10 using the
upgrade process. I, of course, had to re-install OE from Rafael's site and
run the Outlook Restore file.
I did that and got all my messages, though, regretably, I have to re-build
my address book and list of signatures -- but the problem I'm having is I can't
get Jaws to run the old Outlook Express scripts.
I ran the OE script tool that the late Carlos provided to comment out the
Winmail item, but the scripts still won't read the from, date, to fields as you
could before using Jaws 16.4438.
