Hey Larry,

What email program are you using?

Jorge,

There is no better symbol for the purpose we serve than the emblem every Marine earns: the Eagle, Globe and Anchor. The eagle represents the proud nation we defend. It stands at the ready with our coastlines in sight and the entire world within reach of its outstretched wings. The globe represents our worldwide presence. The anchor points both to the Marine Corps' naval heritage and its ability to access any coastline in the world. Together, the eagle, globe and anchor symbolize our commitment to defend our nation—in the air, on land and at sea.

I also use Outlook and did not experience it there.

No, and I have had the problem for several releases of Jaws. Some messages begin reading fine and others don’t and I cant figure out the difference. I have contacted FS a couple of times, but they seem not to understand what I am trying to tell them, so I just live with it.

Marie, I am having the same trouble you mentioned. When I open an email to read it, I now have to up arrow one time to get it done. I never had to do that before. I am running Jaws 2019 on a windows ten machine. Any ideas on how to fix my problem so it reads like it used to with jaws  2018?

I installed the full version of 2019 and got a nice surprise when I began checking emails with WLM. As most know, often when you are reading a message and press delete: the next message opens but Jaws does not always begin reading the body of the message unless you press the up arrow key. Not positive it will last but now each message began reading as soon as it was opened. It really speeds things up.

Jim,

The Offline version is about 600 MB and you don't need to use the /layout and all those commands. But to be honest, I really suggest you just give the regular download a try. We have spent the last 18 months or so completely updating the install technology and it works great. Just because you had issues in the past, I would suggest you give it a try.

Hiya Eric,

I have always preferred having the full file download of Jaws and to be honest as a paid Jaws user for so many years do not like this online installation as alot tends to go wrong, and what if we all need to do a repair installation, what then?

Am downloading the offline version now, your offline page is not good for the average PC user with all these command lines, I gather thru all that techno gargon downloading the full offline 64bit version for my 64bit PC will still get me what I want?

Regards,

Jim

We have also updated the FS E-Store: https://store.freedomscientific.com/

There is no better symbol for the purpose we
serve than the emblem every Marine earns: the
Eagle, Globe and Anchor. The eagle represents
the proud nation we defend. It stands at the

General Mail Settings

Messages automatically read not checked

If so, try unchecking all 3 of them and see if your message reading improves.

No one was going to beat the Redsox this year and
I know that because I listened and watch the
games. And just to bring the conversation back
to the JAWS list, I read all of the sports
articles about them on line, using JAWS.
And yes, even though I live in Fullerton, near Anaheim, "Go Rams".

Mike,
You did a great job on this Jaws 2019 info document,

Thank you.

Jorge,
There is no better symbol for the purpose we
serve than the emblem every Marine earns: the
Eagle, Globe and Anchor. The eagle represents
the proud nation we defend. It stands at the
ready with our coastlines in sight and the
entire world within reach of its outstretched
wings. The globe represents our worldwide
presence. The anchor points both to the Marine
Corps' naval heritage and its ability to access
any coastline in the world. Together, the
eagle, globe and anchor symbolize our
commitment to defend our nationin the air, on land and at sea.

Chrome and no heading

Holger Fiallo <hfiallo@...>

It looks like is a jaws issue. Got the same problem where chrome says no heading after I attempt to use h to move around. This time I turn off jaws and restarted and I am able to use h to move. Using jaws 2019 and w10. I hope this is a bug that can be fix. Anyone else is having this problem?

Jaws 2019: more problems with pronunciation dictionary

Orlando Enrique Fiol

Hi all. After having updated my beta to the 2019 release and un installed 2018,, the pronunciation dictionary has absolutely no multilingual capabilities. WIn the combo boxes where I should see all my installed languages, I only hear "All Languages". And in the combo box where I should find all my speech synthesizers, I only find "All Speech Synthesizers". This effectively means that I could only enter words that I would want pronounced identically in every language I speak and read.
I have now uninstalledd and reinstalled 2019, hoping that a clean install would fix the problem, but it has not.
I have lots of reading to do in other languages while completing my dissertation. I cannot afford to have this problem with the most expensive screen reader on the market. Worrst of all, I managed

to fix this problem during the beta cycle. But those same procedures are not working here.
