Hi All,
Running Windows 10 Pro and Jaws 18, 2018 and2019 latest. Malwarebytes has this thing called, Malwarebytes Tray Application, it's an invisible page to the sighted eye, but Jaws detects this page that covers up the desktop as soon as MWB starts. I have not found a way of getting rid of this page but, MWB tech support says that Jaws users they've been in contact with don't have a problem and that running the latest version of Jaws and Windows does not show this page. Well, I disagree so, I need the help of other Jaws users! Would anyone that uses Windows 10 & MWB 3.6 please contact me off list, or reply because if anyone has found a way of getting rid of this page it would be greatly appreciated by many Jaws / MWB users! If you have found a way of eliminating / hiding this page, would you please explain how you did it? All help and replies will be greatly appreciated! Thank y'all mooy moocho. Take care. Mike. Adrian,
Interesting theory. I turned auto correct off in Word & Outlook as I found often it was changing words automatically to words I had not intended and if I accidently did not proof something often the email or document made no sense. How do you have yours configured to avoid this? I do like the sound Jaws makes when I do misspell as I’m able to correct right away and have less errors to contend with when spell check runs.

Hi. Robin recently posted a query about the clicking sound JAWS 2019 beta makes when apparently reporting a spelling error. It seemed there were no spelling errors. I think I know what might be going on.
I have Outlook/Word 2016 set to autocorrect my typing. When that click is heard, two things may be happening almost simultaneously. First, JAWS picks up an error. Second, autocorrect fixes it.
Note that autocorrect doesn’t fix every spelling error, so sometimes the click really does indicate that there’s still an error there.

David, it’s worth reminding us all that there’s a reason why we confuse these two commands. They’re different but in a way similar. Alt-JAWS key-s opens the speech and sounds scheme, as Rebecca posted. Control-JAWS key-s opens the voice profile list, as I know you know.

It won’t open a graphic as such, but there may be a link in it, which JAWS would report. Or there may be one of those newfangled controls that JAWS doesn’t verbalize but that sill works. So, have you tried clicking on the graphic with enter or spacebar?
