Re: Identifying the folder of a doc
Glenn / Lenny
Hi Wayne,
I know a Wayne Smith in Nebraska.
Pretty common name though.
Anyway, in my word, when I do alt + F, and up
arrow, it shows like the last four files I had open, and it reads the path
too.
The other thing you might try is to do the title
command with the document in question open, and that command is insert +
T.
Or, if you search for it again, and you find it,
try the say-line command when you are on top of it in the list and it may say
the path.
HTH.

I am using W10, jaws 2018 and
I am having problems with jaws 2018 and would like to uninstall and then reinstall jaws 2018. At present, Jaws will not let me unstall or run jaws repair on jaws 2018. Jaws 18 works just fine on this computer. If someone could give me info on this I would appreciate it very much. Also, does anyone know if Microsoft handicap help is open on Sundays or not just in case? Thanks for any help or suggestions. FRED C. ADAMS W4HC THE NIGHT IS FAR SPENT AND THE DAY IS AT HAND

You may confirm that it is indeed doing it, and Jaws is just not saying it.
If that is the case, it is something in your Jaws verbosity settings.

While in IE11 open, Tools / Options with, Alt + t, then press, O.

Tab to, AutoComplete settings button, and spacebar to open.
The first checkbox is for the, Address bar, if this is unchecked, check it with the spacebar, tab to, Okay, and press enter. Restart IE11 and see if this will solve the outo fill you wanted.
