It is not repeat not blind friendly.
We’ve tried to contact Quicken both via e-mail and phone calls, with no
success.
I’ve even talked with the head quarters of the NFB and ACB and still no
luck.
This is a huge shame because up until around 2015, it was a beautiful
little program.

echoing words in Outlook or in word. However, it still occasionally says a random word which starts with a letter that it seems to arbitrarily choose. For example, I re-read the word, "occasionally", just now to check my spelling, and Jaws then chose the letter I and said a word starting with that letter . I've now used the insert 2 method in addition to the more comprehensive insert 6 method, and I'm hoping that Jaws will stop providing me with these random words. Miriam

Well, the standalone OE does work quite well, however, you can't import mail or contacts, I've tried many times. however, saying all of this, it's very easy to add contacts within outlook express.
The impossible is the untried, Never under estimate the power of a dream.

I have heard so many negative issue with Outlook Express I avoid it, however, that being said, many people love it and I am fairly sure you could transfer your WLM info to OE and give it a try. Marie

It works well with Jaws, and is also
self-voicing.
You can import you bank statements
into it for balancing.

Sherri,
Try pressing ctrl + shift + 8 to toggle off the display paragraph marks setting. Hopefully this will also take care of the spaces being displayed. I'm not sure which versions of Word this works with but it worked for me with Word 2010.

I've been a long-time user of Quicken as well but admit that Money Talks sounds promising after reading through its user's manual at this link:

I got a bit confused when I read that Money Talks only imports qif or csv files for one account at a time whereas Quicken will let you export multiple account data. I'm not sure if this means that Money Talks requires you to keep separate files for your checking account, credit card, savings account, investment accounts, etc. whereas Quicken keeps all of these accounts in the same file. I guess I'll learn more about this if I continue exploring but if anyone using Money Talks can comment, I would appreciate it.

I was a long time Quicken user. I have downloaded the demo of MoneyTalks from APH. Others on the list have used it and it seems like it has the features I need. Havent’ tried it yet, but I think it will be a good replacement for Quicken. I do believe that it will take the Quicken files so that you can transfer over data. You may need to explore a file fomr Quicken and then import it to MoneyTalks.

you may want to explore Money Talks from APH.ORG It is old software, but I've heard it still works in Windows 10 and I believe you can download a free trial version. It should be able to import the data file from your export or backup from Quicken. I'm lazy, and let my wife handle Quicken since it does not work at all well with Jaws and we do not need QuickBooks.
