Hi Lenny,

What browser are you running?  Try looking in the Tools / Options to see if there's an Auto Scroll option, and if so turn it off to see if that helps.
Take Care.  Mike.  Sent from my iBarstool.

Hi Lenny,

Give this a try.

Open setting center insert + 6.

Tab once to the list of items

Arrow down to “Web / HTML / PDFs”

Right arrow to open.

Press M twice to get to “Miscellaneous.”

Right arrow to open

Arrow down to “Page Refresh Filter”

And press spacebar for the various options and see if any of it helps.

Good Luck!

Debby

Subject: [jaws-users] reading newspaper

I have a problem reading my local newspaper. They added an automatic scrolling feature that shows links to different stories or the option to subscribe. As each new link is presented jaws automatically reads it. So if I am reading down the page jaws constantly reads the changed link in the scrolling or rolling section of the page. I have been toying with the  settings for Firefox using jaws key plus 6. Anyway what setting do I really need to change to stop this very annoying problem?
