Re: Outlook Calendar - Reading Multiple Appointments On Same Day With JAWS

HSG Director

Hi Charles,

This is Waqas from London.

I am having the same issue with my Outlook Calendar in Month and Week view – Jaws will skip the second or third appointment and is navigating between full-day events. The only way I can read them using the tabbing method is by switching to the day view. I spent a considerable amount of time with Sight & Sound tech support last week but they are equally clueless.

Re your second query, you can set up your iPhone to synch with your Outlook through iTunes but I’d recommend sighted assistance to set this up.

Many Thanks

Subject: [jaws-users] Outlook Calendar - Reading Multiple Appointments On Same Day With JAWS

I am using the latest build of JAWS and Office 365, including Microsoft Outlook.

When navigating the Calendar Month View, I use the arrow keys to move between days. When I hear that a couple of appointments have been scheduled, for a particular day, I use the TAB key to move into the first appointment. How can I then access subsequent appointments for that day and read them with JAWS? Also, is there a way for me to synch my Outlook calendar across all of my devices, including my IPhone? I am using GMAIL for my personal email and it would be great if appointments, entered on any of my devices, would be available to all of them.

Many Thanks.

With Kind Regards,
