I really don't think so, that handing them
something more to read is good.
Reading for sighted people takes time too, and if
they really need information, you should be able to give them the URL without
writing it down.
You only say, if you want the URL, I can give it
to you at any time.
Because the URL is just
Freedom Scientific dot
com
Really, the interview is about your
qualifications and not your tools, and you would do well to be considerate of
that the fact that sighted folks may not want to read through
papers.
They may not have experience with interviewing
Blind folks, so they may not have anything to compare your interviewing
skills, or lack there of, to, with respect to other Blind individuals,
but all people, Blind and sighted, have to learn how to handle an
interview.
But like I wrote before, the interview is about
your interpersonal skills and to find out about you, not about your tools, at
least not in detail, because you haven't gotten the job yet, and if you don't
get the job, then why do they want that information?
Handing them a piece of paper says
I really would rather not talk, but you can read
this paper.
Have you done any mock interviews?
What state do you live in?
Your state rehab agency should train you in this
first.

Thanks I am not talking about many pages but just one page so can see or
give it to some one else such there PC people. Like I say as a person who can
see the verbal info is good but having something in paper is good.

I work in job placement, in my work, and I think
that handing too much to an employer to look at would not be
good.
They would rather see your communication skills
and they don't care that much about Jaws to read about it.
Handing them stuff to read is not what they call
you in for in an interview.
That is why more brief resumes are
better.
You can give them the URL for Freedom Scientific
if they want more information about it.
And don't take a cell phone in with you during
the interview.

I do so but also I want to have the papers so they can see them This is a
thing that most people who can see like to have. As a person who could see I
like to have the oral info and papers.

I'm sure that there is documentation, but I think
it would be more impressive in an interview for you to explain it
yourself.
You only need to say something like:
I use something called a screenreader, the one I
use is called Jaws, it turns the text on the screen into spoken words, and I
use Windows keyboard commands and some Jaws commands to access the various
parts of the text that I need to read.

Subject: [jaws-users] Info about jaws
Morning,
all
Going for
an interview next week, I need documentation about what jaws does so I can
give it to the person who will be doing the interview instead of just talking
about. FS does not have anything like in about jaws. Just talk about the
fixes. Does anyone have something like that? I am going for the interview on
09-12-18. Thanks
