I've experienced this in Outlook as well.
When replying to a message, every keystroke acts like you are on a web page, like quick keys.
The only way to fix it so you can write the reply is to do insert + Z.

I never need to turn off the virtual cursor in WLM. I must have missed something here because I don’t know why you are having to do this or under what circumstances.
Since there is nothing here to explain, could you post more info?

It's getting quite annoying to have turn off the virtual cursor in WLM when I want to reply to a message.
How do I turn it off permanently for WLM?
