[IC-7000] Transmitter Adjustment
If the bias set properly for the driver and one of the PA transistors, it is very likely the PA transistor that won’t set is defective. Thank you, Paul W. Hansen, W6XA

Can anyone tell me why the tuner/call button would not key up rig when pushed. I just get one beep each time pushed. Antenna is connected to an mfj tuner, and has worked for a long time. I cleaned up

That's a first. I've not heard of the PTT mirco switch failing. Usually its the microphone cord (especially near the RJ-45 connectors) that fails. Steve WA8Y

The push to talk button on my ic7000 microphone is not working. I found that the small microswitch is bad. Does anyone know the part number for that switch or an acceptable substitute? Cal KC2KD

I wanted to ask the group about this recent experience I have had with my IC-7000. During the recent ARRL sweepstakes phone contest I operated using my 7000 with a newly acquired MFJ-939i auto antenna

Could I ask those of you using a Signalink USB with your IC-7000 to weigh in on the 6-pin vs. 13-pin question? (I am already aware of the mic muting issue.) Thanks, Mark -- WA9ETW

The driver transistor on the driver board burned up. It’s likely the board is destroyed too. It’s a relatively common failure in IC-7000’s although Icom tried some modifications to stabilize the drive
